But Emma Stone proved she’s as down to earth as anyone in Hollywood, legitimately tearing up after receiving a video message from Spice Girl Melanie ‘Mel B’ Brown on Thursday.

It all happened during an interview with 2DayFM’s Merrick Watts and Sophie Monk, which ended with Stone, 25, singing the Spice Girls’ hit Wannabe at the request of Scary Spice herself.

But they had a surprise for Stone, as Mel B, 38, had recorded a video message just for the Easy A actress. I’m legitimately crying, I’m the biggest Spice Girl fan ever,’ demanding that Stone sing a rendition of a Spice Girls song to make up for the fact that she hadn’t chosen Scary as her favourite Spice.

Stone was still in a state of utter disbelief, and while Merrick excitedly proclaim ‘you’re tearing up!,’ Sophie lent a helping hand and began singing Wannabe to get the ball rolling.
