Theresa May, the prime minister of the United Kingdom, brought nags about the deal offered by her to the parliament wanted second EU referendum. She appealed to MP’s on both sides of the house, and the Brexit divides. She seeks to withdrawal the UK from the parliament. After several attempts by May, this time she proposed forward the idea of a second referendum to get her task done. Earlier in 2015, she offered the deal of a referendum in the parliament in which she succeeded by 59.9% votes in a majority of her deal and came into action, but due to some non-binding, the referendum was withdrawal on 2017. This new deal was the same as her previous proposal with some added sweeteners, as said by many.

May’s Offer Is  A Chequers Plan

This deal concerns Brexit related to the UK Government White Paper. It talks about the future relationship with the European Union. It is called a future partnership between the two nations that proposes a free trade area for the export and import of goods as a frictionless trade at the border of Northern Ireland.

Commoners are opposing the Deal

Since the deal has been rejected almost three times by the parliament, May didn’t stop and went on to introduce new rights in favor of labours, environmental issues, and temporary relations with the European Union. Despite this, the deal is still being considered as a sugar coating on the top and getting the UK out of the Parliament. According To Theresa, rejecting the deal would lead to a nightmare in the future of politics in Europe.

While delivering her thought process related to the deal, she started gaining oppositions against her plan. Conservative party leaders say that she plans to wear than the previous deal o0f 2015 and would bound them deeply to the EU.

Second Referendum Being Considered As The So-Called People’s Vote

Though the majority is against this offer, some supporters of the second referendum call it a so-called people’s vote. Margaret Beckett, who is the supporter of this offer, is now against the offer and wants it to be rejected. Although, if the PM’s plea of separating Brexiteers from the Union is supported and considered, voting will be held by the members of the parliament to vote on whether or not to have a second referendum.

Reasons Why May’s Deal Should Be Rejected

  • It is not possible for the UK to conduct a future relationship with the EU. The benefits will be sacrificed due which the UK left EU once the deal comes in legally binding and even the super leader would not be able to escape
  • It does not change any position of the UK that it has been in for months.
  • It proposes a lot of borders between Northern Ireland and Ireland. This would oblige the nations to apply for the most favoured nation on the border.

The deal is considered unsatisfactory as it leads to frozen Brexit as it will lead to frictionless trade, and this is what makes this deal terrible for the U.K.
