A care worker has inherited one of the country estates of Britain after he managed to get proof that he was the illegitimate son of an aristocratic owner. Jordan Adlard Rogers who is 31 years old has been trying to obtain proof for many years now that he is the real son of Charles Rogers. It is said that Mr. Rogers has many requests for tests to be done turned away while his father was still living.

DNA Test

The 62-year old estate owner was found dead in his car in August and then there was a DNA test that was carried out. Also, this confirmed that Mr. Rogers is the direct descendant. Charle’s mother and brother have also passed away and he was claimed to be the heir of the grand estate which is a 1,536 acre stretch of land.

Now, he has made a move into the posh Penrose estate and said that he is learning to be a part of this new life and his newly found family history. For generations, the Roger family has been living on this site. They had also gifted it to the National Trust in 1974 wherein exchange for they asked for 1,000-year lease so that they could continue living there.

The years of attempts

Mr. Rogers has left his job and now is a community support worker and they will live off the proceeds of the estate. He said that he couldn’t believe how much his life has changed since the DNA test showed positive results.

He also said that he has his suspicions that Charles could be his father. Also, he has offered Mr. Rogers to do a DNA test when he was younger but that didn’t take place. But then when Mr. Rogers was 18 he asked his father if the test could be conducted and he told him to do it through the solicitors.

Some more details

Mr. Rogers said that he also had some tough time dealing with some obstructive family members during this entire process. But when the test was finally done and the results were out Charles was confirmed to be his very own father. He further said that now he started getting up on his own feet under the table. People tell him that he is lucky but he says that he would trade absolutely anything so that he could go back and let Charles know that he is his son. This could be a different impact on him and he might have taken a different path.

He also said that he doesn’t want to work anymore but would want to set up a charity and help the communities of Porthleven and Helston. He said that he had a point in life when he would worry about his next bill and had some difficulties when he wanted to start with his life but since now he is at this point he intends on helping people out there.
