Recently the labour leader Jeremy Corbyn came forward and announced that the labours are not in favour of the Brexit bill and will vote against the Prime Ministers bill of Brexit. The labours had not been in the support of the Brexit bill since the time it came into existence. The Brexit bill had been the most controversial measurement by the British government that happened in the past years. The entire European Union was not in favour of Brexit but the people of the United Kingdom supported it. However, not all people in the UK stood for the support of the Brexit bill and the labour community is definitely the leading members who were not in favour of the Brexit bill. The bill was supposed to bring about prosperity in the United Kingdom by releasing several responsibilities that the European Union had imposed on Britain. The bill was initially formulated keeping the security issues into consideration.

Why the labours are against the Brexit bill?

The labours claimed that the bill had absolutely no mention about the measures that should be taken to maintain the customers union and consumer rights of the people and the labours. Thus, they strongly protested against the fundamental moves of Brexit bill. While the bill was formulated for the overall improvement of the country but it needs to be approved by the greater section of people residing in the country and the labour union voting against the bill will complicate situations for the ministry to a great extent. The government tried having a conversation with the labour leader so that they can come to a conclusion. But any specific progress in this regard has not yet been reported from either side.

Theresa May confirms that she will step down from her position

Amidst everything going on Theresa May came into the press and stated that she will step down from her position and a new prime minister of the country will take the Brexit bill forward. In this regard, the entire European Union was confused and the president of France came forward and asked the UK government on the immediate states of Brexit. The Brexit controversy has become so huge in the European Union that it has become a major issue of concern for the rest of the European Union on what exactly will happen in the Brexit bill. A lot is at stake for the EU in terms of different aspects. They have a lot to clarify to their people and have to come up with a Brexit bill to normalize the situations in the European Union.

Thus, overall the effect of Brexit will be equally reflected upon the European Union and Britain. The European Union as a whole was never in favour of the Brexit bill and now with the support of the labours organization, Brexit will be delayed if not deleted from existence. The protest of the labours thus supported by the European Union.
