The collection of elections which were never planned to happen in the parliament of Great Britain, the selection of the members of the parliament of Europe have turned out to be the one which is of biggest importance in the country. Since the year of 1979, when the direct elections in the European Assembly have been started, these types of contests for election have not acquired much fame and attention in the country of Great Britain. This is the first time when the turnout in the country of Great Britain is said to have some average better than that of the European Union, and all of this is quite less ironic.
It is quite true that the nation was quite aware of the results which were already being told to the masses by means of opinion polls and the actual results provided only a little variation in the overall results. The elections were also known to be one of the main grounds of protest by the people of Ukip in the year 2014 and were the same for the people of Green in the year 1989.
But it is said and being reported that these elections in the country of Great Britain are going to face some of the biggest importance which was not the case before. It is said that this time there is a huge importance and value of these European elections. This time people are going to get some chance hence, they could try to make their views plain and hence could discuss upon the topics which were beyond the discussion of the normal people, moreover, it is known that these elections aren’t the second referendum.
The main factor of discussion in all of these scenarios is that of Europe, and hence, it emerges out to be one of the main ideas of the discussion. Two parties have not yet published the manifestos for the election, the two parties who are a part of the discussion are, the Brexit party and the Conservative party. Though the voters were eager to know about the standing of these two parties, alas, they couldn’t.
The main and most obvious reasons for this diplomatic attitude is the long pain and suffering of the Brexit. There was also the factor of public frustration with the party and that Nigel Farage came back into the party who developed the party without any structure or policy and has been availing the joys of that of the Electoral Commission.
But it surely would be a mistake if anyone out there might be treating these elections like that of the false second referendum. There is surely a superficial belief that is throttling over the votes and dividing them into two sides, one where the votes are for the Ukip and that of the Brexit party while the other side has everyone else. It is also that the Conservative party could be regarded as that of a soft Brexit party.
