Tüyap hosts Plast Eurasia for a 35th time this coming December in Istanbul. Plastics machinery, raw materials and production technologies will all be on show, while organisers step up their courtship of trade visitors in leading European markets ahead of opening day.
İstanbul – Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. runs Plast Eurasia on 2-5 December 2026 at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul, in cooperation with PAGEV and under the auspices of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade. Manufacturers, technology providers, raw material producers, distributors and purchasing professionals are expected to come together and forge trading ties spanning the whole plastics sector.
“For 35 years, Plast Eurasia supports the growth and development of the industry by bringing companies and professionals together and helping turn those connections into commercial relationships,” according to İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc. “This year, we want to carry that experience forward by creating focused opportunities for buyers, suppliers and technology companies to meet around the needs of today’s plastics industry.”
Recruitment of European visitors accelerates
Around 3 months ahead of opening, 90% of the exhibition area has already been booked. Organisers put the expected turnout at 80,000, drawn from Türkiye and abroad, with trade visitor drives focused on France, Germany, Belgium, Greece, Romania, Italy and Poland, as well as Middle East and North Africa markets.
European professionals in the sector will find machinery suppliers, materials companies and other plastics firms assembled in a single Istanbul venue in December. The international visitor programme sets out to generate fresh business contacts, while also assisting firms in deepening the trading ties they already hold.
Machines, raw materials and production technology fill out the line-up
Plastic production machinery forms one core part of the exhibition, with raw materials and chemicals the other. Also represented are machinery solutions plus production technologies of the coming generation, and the fair’s commercial agenda is framed by themes of efficiency, innovation and value-added production.
With such a product range, buyers and technical staff can weigh up machines, materials and manufacturing methods on one trip, while exhibitors get to showcase fresh products, technologies and solutions for the sector before an international crowd.
Anniversary activities trace 35 years of industry shifts
The 35th-anniversary programme includes a Milestones Map, which follows turning points in the fair’s history and shifts in the plastics industry through a timeline-style display. A display of vintage plastics production machines will likewise show the way manufacturing technology has moved on.
At the opening ceremony, plaques go to Kontel Elektronik, Enformak Plastik Teknolojileri and Almak Ateş Makine, in acknowledgement of the loyalty shown by three firms present throughout the fair’s 35-year journey.
The Stage is Yours! hands exhibitors 30-minute speaking slots in which to relay success stories and present value-added products, technologies and sector solutions to the audience.
Dedicated guidance for hosted buyers
The Hosted Buyer Guided Tour programme channels international buying delegations more efficiently towards the exhibitors and product groups that matter to them. Buyers taking part receive ready-made itineraries, calls at demonstration and event zones, access to the Hosted Buyer Lounge and support services set aside for them.
Turkish Airlines, the Official Airline of Plast Eurasia, has put discounts on qualifying international return flights into Istanbul between 25 November and 12 December 2026: 10% off Economy Class fares and 15% off Business Class.
