A charity run in aid of children is being organised in the North Macedonian capital by Garnet Trade, the forex brokerage active across the international financial markets. The event forms part of the firm’s wider corporate social responsibility programme aimed at supporting young people.
Set to take place in Skopje, the run has been designed to pair the unifying spirit of sport with tangible social benefit. Organisers intend for the backing raised through the day to feed into initiatives that improve living conditions for children who are in need of care and protection.
Sport and Solidarity Unite for a Common Cause
The Skopje run is intended to draw participants of all ages together behind a single social purpose. Beyond raising financial support, the initiative also seeks to lift public awareness of the challenges facing children in difficult circumstances. As it continues to expand its international presence in the financial sector, the brokerage says it wants to champion projects that marry sporting activity with meaningful social outcomes as a core element of its responsibility agenda.
“We Want to Grow Success Together with Social Impact”
Commenting on the plans, Garnet Trade said: “We believe that a company’s success should not be measured solely by financial results. It is important for us to contribute to the communities in which we operate and, in particular, to support the future of children. Through this event in Skopje, we aim to combine the unifying power of sport with solidarity.”
Fuller information on how to take part, the planned race route and the organisations set to receive the proceeds is expected to follow in the weeks ahead. Anyone keen to join the run can register their interest through Garnet Trade’s website.
